'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return

Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is presently two years through the four-year agreement he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden important honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he once was, and would definitely think about extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
